First open water swim was on Saturday! Put on wetsuits for the first time, and went out swimming in the ocean. It's not easy, but it was a pretty fun and a good experience.
Also went biking at Rancho San Antonio on Sunday, just to get in at least an hour on the bike.
Please let me know if you have a roadbike I can borrow for a month. Thanks!

30 minute run today.
I ran down the railroads towards 7-Eleven, and then back on Bubb Rd., going down Rainbow Dr. after. The whole thing took about 50 minutes. I ran for 10 minutes, then paused. I did another ten minute interval, with a break in between, finishing with a final 10 minute phase. I walked the rest of the way home.
I'm trying to find the "chi pat" thing that Jill does during practice every week.

Stage workout today, swim and bike!
Swim was good, worked on stroke power and rotating the hips while kicking. (Triathletes don't do much kicking, got to save the legs for the bike/run.)
Bike was fun to, it was a 17-mile ride, but I went the wrong way and missed the hardest hill. Still, I got in around 17 miles, I think. I got so lost that when I got back, the coaches were about to send someone out to find us.

Recommitment
At 9:30am this morning, I officially recommitted myself to fundraising and finishing the Triathlon at Pacific Grove for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! There's not backing out now.
